The Quiet Loft Workshop is an independent creative practice and digital publisher based in Canada, bringing together literary curation, reflective writing, visual storytelling, and thoughtfully designed resources for practice and everyday life.
Across a growing collection of digital works, I create poetry and guided journals, printable cards, planners, trackers, and contemplative resources—shaping each project from its first idea and written content to its visual identity and final published form.

A Multidisciplinary Foundation

My work is shaped by experience spanning writing, research, digital design, publishing, and contemplative practice. Each area contributes something distinct: thoughtful communication, careful inquiry, practical structure, cultural understanding, and close attention to how a product feels as well as how it functions.
Literature, Writing & Translation: Literary curation, original reflections, guided prompts, and translation form an important part of the Workshop’s evolving direction. Future collections will continue to explore poetry, reflection, and the inner life through carefully selected texts and original creative work.
Visual Design & Digital Publishing: Experience in digital design, e-commerce, and web development supports the complete publishing process, from page composition and product presentation to accessible files, organized catalogues, and the technical systems that connect each work with its readers.
Neuroscience & Research: A PhD in neuroscience and subsequent research experience strengthened my ability to evaluate evidence, synthesize complex information, and communicate it clearly—skills I bring to reflective content, thoughtful educational resources, and responsible wellness communication.
Yoga, Reiki & Contemplative Practice: Certifications in Yoga Nidra, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Usui Reiki, and Animal Reiki provide direct subject knowledge for practice-based resources and inform a calm, respectful approach to writing, design, and personal well-being.

The Workshop Philosophy
I believe digital products can be practical without feeling impersonal, and beautiful without becoming distracting. Whether I am creating a poetry journal, a practice companion, or a planning tool, I aim to make each experience clear, cohesive, purposeful, and quietly distinctive.
Every product begins with an understanding of what it is meant to support. Content, structure, and visual atmosphere are developed together, while technology remains a tool in service of the idea and the people who will eventually use it.
By bringing together literature, reflection, thoughtful design, research, and contemplative practice, I create digital work that is purposeful in function, distinctive in character, and gentle in spirit.
